The short version: play the game, have fun, don't copy it.

The iPhone app

The app, and anything you buy in it, is covered by Apple's standard license agreement. Purchases, renewals, cancellations and refunds go through Apple. You can cancel the yearly plan any time in your Apple ID's subscription settings.

The website

The daily game here is free to play. Please don't scrape the site, copy the daily puzzles or answers in bulk, or republish the game as your own.

Places, hints and maps

We work hard to get every place, hint and outline right, but it's a game, not a reference. Borders are simplified, and some are disputed. Don't use Sketchy Maps to settle a border dispute, plan a trip or pass a geography exam. If you spot a mistake, tell us at our support address and we'll fix it.

No warranty

Sketchy Maps is provided as is. We don't promise it will always be available or free of bugs, and to the extent the law allows, we're not liable for anything that comes from using it.

Changes

If these terms change, the date at the top changes with them.
